By creating an account, registering for an event, or otherwise using the CTF7 platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

Eligibility and Account Registration

Participation is open to students, professionals, and cybersecurity enthusiasts. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Individuals under 16 may participate only with the consent and supervision of a parent, guardian, or educational institution. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Code of Conduct

All participants must adhere to the following rules of conduct:

• Using automated tools, scripts, or bots to gain an unfair advantage is strictly forbidden.
• Sharing flags, solutions, or detailed write-ups during an active competition is prohibited.
• You must not perform any disruptive actions against the competition infrastructure, including but not limited to Denial of Service (DoS) attacks or exploiting unintended vulnerabilities.
• All participants must maintain a respectful and professional demeanor. Harassment, spamming, or any form of abusive behavior towards other participants or organizers will result in immediate disqualification.

Intellectual Property

All content provided on the CTF7 platform, including challenges, source code, text, and logos, is the exclusive property of CTF7 and/or its event partners. This content may not be reproduced, distributed, or repurposed without our express written consent.

Competition Rules

• Each competition will have its own specific rules regarding team size, duration, scope, and flag format. Participants are responsible for reading and adhering to these rules.
• The decisions of the event organizers regarding scoring, disputes, and disqualifications are final and binding.

Governing Policies

Your participation is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we handle your data, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which applies to all paid events. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the terms of these policies.

Disclaimer and Platform Availability

The CTF7 platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any issues arising from network outages, technical failures, or server downtime during a competition.

Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
