Hire security talent through CTF7

The Hiring Partner program is for companies that want to hire people they have seen solve problems. Partners post roles on the CTF7 job board, invite players who have said they are open to work, and run hiring rounds and sponsored events with our team.

The program

Three ways partners hire through CTF7

Most partners use more than one. Your company gets an organization on CTF7, and every route ends in the same hiring console: a pipeline per job, screening questions, scorecards and offers.

Post roles on the job board

Your open roles appear on CTF7 careers, next to roles from other partners. Candidates apply with a resume and the skill record from challenges they have solved on CTF7, so the first screen starts with evidence.

Invite players who are open to work

Players who turn on "open to work" in their career profile appear in a candidate directory with their skill scores, event record and job preferences. You send an invitation through CTF7; their email and phone stay private unless they reply. Invites are capped per day, so the directory stays worth opting into.

Run a round or sponsor an event

Screen your own applicants with a private round our team builds for the role, or sponsor an open event and meet its top finishers. How a round is designed, proctored and scored is covered on the hiring CTF page.

The hiring system

What your recruiters work in

Every route above ends in one hiring console inside your CTF7 organization. This is what it contains.

Job openings

Each opening has a job type, experience level, location, a remote option, salary in LPA, an application deadline and required skills. Make it public on the job board, tie it to one event, or share it by private link.

Screening questions

Add questions in seven kinds, including file upload. Mark a required question as a knockout with a rule such as "at least 3" or "is one of", and applicants who fail it are screened out before anyone reads the resume.

A pipeline per job

Every job has its own pipeline with stages you name, shown as a kanban board. Moving a candidate is one action, and a candidate's outcome (in progress, hired, rejected) is recorded separately from their stage.

Interviews and scorecards

Schedule interviews and have each interviewer fill in a scorecard with a rating per criterion and an overall recommendation, so feedback is comparable across candidates.

Offers

Send an offer with the letter attached and an expiry date. The candidate accepts or declines inside CTF7, and the pipeline updates.

Open-to-work directory

Browse candidates who opted in, with skill-matched recommendations for each job. Bookmark people, and send invites from the console.

Consent comes first. Only candidates who turn on "open to work" in their career profile appear in the directory. Organizers never receive a candidate's email or phone from the directory or its invites; a candidate shares contact details only by replying or applying.

Plan. The hiring tools (job board, pipeline and open-to-work sourcing) come with the Pro and Enterprise organization plans, and the events those plans include cover the hiring CTF round itself. A large drive that needs setup by our team, managed containers or advanced anti-cheat logs runs as a Premium event; see organization plans. Running a technical round before you screen applicants is covered on the hiring CTF page, and open roles are listed on CTF7 careers.

What hiring partners get

What you get on your first hire through CTF7, and what builds up after that.

A solve history before the interview

See which challenges a candidate solved and how long they took, and for Raw Ops rounds read the report they wrote.

Rounds built for your roles

Our team writes challenges for the job: web and API testing for a pentester, log triage for a SOC analyst, a build task for a developer.

Interviews with people who qualified

Candidates clear a technical round before your engineers spend an hour with them.

Brand visibility

Your company gets featured on the CTF7 website, at events and across our social media, with co-branded material that follows our brand guidelines.

Reach across India

Students, freshers and working professionals from colleges and communities across India play on CTF7.

The next drive starts from the last one

Your organization, past rounds, pipelines and results stay on CTF7, so a second drive reuses what worked in the first.

A directory that keeps growing

Players from each new event can turn on "open to work", so there are new names in the directory after every season.

Sponsored events

Put your name on an open event and its challenges, and meet the players who finish at the top.

Internships and campus drives

Run campus rounds for interns and freshers from the same account when your hiring calendar calls for it.

Eligibility

Who can partner with us

We welcome companies and organizations that want to hire practical, skilled talent through challenge-based formats. That includes:

  • Startups, tech firms, corporates and consultancies
  • Companies hiring pentesters, AppSec engineers, SOC analysts and other security roles
  • Teams hiring interns, freshers or experienced candidates
  • Teams willing to put a technical round before the resume screen
Roles

Roles you can assess with challenges

Rounds are designed around the skills each role needs day to day.

  • Penetration tester
  • AppSec engineer
  • SOC analyst
  • Cloud security
  • Security researcher
  • Incident responder
  • Security interns

Hiring pentesters? A Raw Ops round asks candidates to find and report real vulnerabilities, scored with CVSS 4.0, so you see report quality as well as technical skill.

How it works

How the partnership starts

From the interest form to your first shortlist. Your team runs the interviews and makes the offer.

Only want to screen your own applicants with a technical round? You don't need the program for that; see how a hiring CTF runs.

Send the interest form

Company, the roles you are hiring for, experience level, roughly how many hires and your timeline. Or email [email protected].

Pick the routes that fit

On a call with our hiring team you decide what to use first: job board postings, directory invites, a private round, a sponsored event, or a mix.

Set up your organization

We set up your company on CTF7 and add your recruiters. Roles go on the board; if you chose a round, our team starts on the challenges for it.

Review and interview

Applications and invite replies land in a pipeline per job. Move candidates through your stages, fill in scorecards and send offers from the same console.

Plan your next event with us

A free jeopardy event for up to 50 players goes live when you publish it. For flagship events, our team can build the challenges and run the managed formats: attack-defense, King of the Hill and SOC simulations.
